Day 73: Run To Jesus
Read: Psalm 54, Proverbs 25:21-23, 1 Corinthians 10, Exodus 9-10

Therefore send now and gather your livestock and all that you have in the field, for the hail shall come down on every man and every animal which is found in the field and is not brought home; and they shall die.” ’ ”
Ex 9:19 NKJV

I heard of a story of how a rabbit was eaten by an eagle when a family has fogotten to cover the lid of the rabbit's shed that they made and thus exposed the rabbit. In today's passage in the Old Testament, one of the plagues that was sent upon Egypt was the heavy hail that came down on every man and every animal found in the field and not brought home. Hence, how we need to come under the covering of our spiritual authority. We need to have a spiritual "lid" covering us. We need to "go home" to take refuge to be safe, just as stated in Proverbs 18:10, "the name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe". Run to Jesus! He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC (please click to view a visual)
