Day 52: Jesus' Return Is Drawing Near
““Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.””

One consistent factor that can be observed is that the sower keeps sowing the seeds. The sower did not choose the type of soil to sow the seeds. As we know the seed represents the Word of God. We need to keep sharing the Word of God to everyone. We must not give up. Knowing that the seed can be snatched away by the evil ones, we need to pray for our recipients. We help the soil without roots by teaching more in depth the Word of God whereas the ones who are choked with the cares of the world need encouragement from the fellowship of believers that God is faithful and will provide for all their needs. Let us not give up meeting and encouraging one another to spur one another on especially now that the day of Jesus' return is drawing near (Hebrews 10:25). https://twitter.com/EstherOngHC
