At the pool of Bethesda a man had been physically incapacitated for 38 years and could not walk. When Jesus asked if he wanted to get well, he replied that there was no one to help him. Then Jesus said ... ""Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." (John 5:6-8). Too often we are like this man on that mat ... accustomed to our place of sorrow and grief... enjoy being a victim and being comfortable. Friend, know for sure God has a plan for your life and a purpose for your pain. Do not wallow in self-pity and despair. Instead surrender them to Jesus. Then take courage to get up and walk in Jesus name!

What impressed me most is the history of this great prestigious University. John and Charles Wesley's prayer meetings held there laid the foundations of the Methodist Church today. The way of teaching is based on the Disputations which was started 600 years ago in the Divinity School where 2 Professors would present their cases to determine who would be more persuasive.
